Ink for printing on silicone rubber

SE Series pad printing ink is a two-component ink for printing on silicone rubber parts. This silicone-based ink is the only ink that can stick to silicone. Unlike solvent-based pad printing inks that cure at room temperature, silicone ink requires heat to cure. Boston Industrial Solutions, Inc., is the largest manufacturer and supplier of silicone inks in the world, serving very diverse industries. Our high-purity silicone inks designed for printing silicone surfaces in healthcare and advanced technology applications. Additionally, we manufacture custom inks per customer requests, e.g., printing inks for florosilicone elastomers.

Plastic Pad Printing Ink

Plastic pad printing ink is a solvent-based type of ink formulated as a one- or two-component ink for printing on plasticsIn general, there are two types of plastics: solvent-sensitive (simple plastics) and non-solvent-sensitive (complex plastics). For solvent-sensitive plastics, pre-treatment is not required. These plastics have a surface energy level that is the same as or above the pad printing ink. Complex plastics, on the other hand, have low surface energy. As a result, pre-treatment is required for good ink adhesion. An example of an ink adhesion promoter for complex plastics is Natron polypropylene primer.

Metal UV Printing Solutions

Industrial UV printers print digital images directly and print them directly onto a substrate. This technology has made it possible for decorators to print graphics on many different types of substrates that were not possible before. Examples of materials that you can print with inkjet include plastic, glass, stainless steel, ceramic, rubber, and more. In this article, we will focus on solutions for UV printing on metals.

UV printing has been used for marking metal for some time. Today, companies are relying on metals to produce parts and goods because they are cost-efficient, durable, sustainable, and strong. As consumers demand stylish, sustainable drinkware, metals, especially stainless steel, have become the preferred material to fulfill this demand. Signage, industrial tools, mechanical parts, housing cases, drinkware, automotive, etc. are all industries that use metal parts. While there are three methods for printing, we will focus on UV digital printing.
